After a long time

It seems my reading stimulates my writing.
Living Well is my most recent challenge. The book reminds us that we need to find peace within ourselves and that we need to be people who practice compassion and hospitality.
It gives good little bites of insight and advice. One such thing sounds so fun. It tells folks to have a fortune telling party. At the party folks who know each other gather to share hopes and dreams they have for each other. Each lifts up the strengths and potentials of the others. It is a time of affirmation and encouragement. How fun if we could all do that for those we care about.
Tom Dipko - a UCC preacher - says 'if you have a compliment to give to someone and do not do it you are stealing from them.' He says stop stealing and start giving out compliments.
We all need affirmations. We all need encouragement. We all need hope and love. AND we all can be the good starter of potential greatness by helping others see themselves as gifted and capable. When we see it in others - we release it in ourselves as well.
